FastNetMon team consists of highly passionate enthusiasts with a deep experience of working with different types of multi vendor networks and defending them from DDoS attacks. 

The company specialises in a variety of services: DDoS Detection and Mitigation, BGP BlackHole Automation, FlowSpec DDoS Mitigation, Network Traffic Visibility, DDoS Scrubbing Centre Diversion Automation, Blocklist Based Filtering, AWS Network Analytics, and Google Cloud Network Analytics.

FastNetMon has a proven record of delivering tangible results for their clients — the company has an “Excellent” rating on Trustpilot. 

FastNetMon team was quick to realise the importance of web-analytics and its inherent benefits: seeing how clients interact with their website and measuring Google Ads performance. Thus, FastNetMon partnered with the RocketScience team to set-up and tailor Google Analytics 4 (a leading web-analytics tool from Google) and learn more about their clients, Google Ads campaigns and product performance.

Objectives

  1. Identify the most sought-after products per major customer acquisition channels;
  2. Identify customer behaviour patterns and customer demographics to improve product discoverability and user experience;
  3. Make data readily accessible to all relevant teams for informed decision-making.

Results

  1. Identified the most popular product tariffs among customers per each major customer acquisition channel;
  2. Increased business and customer awareness by identifying full sales funnel, geography of customers, age, gender, device operating system, interests, etc.;
  3. Developed a user-friendly Looker Studio dashboard that provides clear and concise visualisations of key performance indicators (KPIs) and a full sales funnel that is available to all Fastnetmon team members.

Working
process

The project of setting up, optimising, and visualising web-analytics required close cooperation between FastNetMon and RocketScience to achieve the best result in as little time as possible. To increase FastNetMon’s business and product awareness we undertook a list of procedures throughout the project:

  • Gathered information on the most valuable conversions for FastNetMon team and established a data flow to capture key website activity;
  • Created a detailed conversion tracking scheme — a technical data collection plan for tracking desired conversions;
  • Сreated a list of audiences in GA4 to track the behaviour and collect data of the key client categories;
  • Created a bespoke Looker Studio dashboard that combines product, traffic acquisitions and sales funnel insights; that allowed us to promote data accessibility and enable data-driven decision-making.

What else?

To make FastNetMon compliant with the new Google user privacy policy (Consent Mode V2), we assisted the team with Consent Management Platform (CMP) selection, integration and testing of their preferred CMP solution.
